The Best Wedding Apps for a Stress Free Wedding

image showing cell phone with wedding appsIt happened! My little girl is getting married. I’m still trying to figure out how my baby grew up so quickly. But, we’re thrilled to be gaining a son in law. In honor of them, I’m doing a post on wedding apps.

Our family has always sought out ways to streamline life. For us, that means finding ways to get things done efficiently so we can enjoy the people and events in our lives. I love apps that help streamline tasks. Surprisingly, there aren’t as many wedding apps on the market as I expected. That’s not a bad thing. Actually, it made writing this post easier.

Here are some great wedding apps to consider for your big day.

AppyCouple image listed in great wedding appsAppy Couple

AppyCouple isn’t just an app. It’s the “full package” where wedding apps and planners are concerned. AppyCouple makes it easy and straightforward for you to design a website that captures your love story and engagement. There are lots of templates and color theme options so you can get your site up and running quickly. Then, keep wedding guests updated as you plan your wedding day. Your guests can make travel arrangements and RSVP for your wedding easily using the AppyCouple app or website. They can also interact with the bridal party. This is a great feature as those in the bridal party are able to easily answer questions for guests during the busy wedding week. AppyCouple also lets your guests use point and shoot mode on their app to capture your wedding moments in real time or upload photos to your website. Don’t worry about the occasional ugly photo. You’ll be able to delete them.

AppyCouple carries a price point that some may feel is a bit steep given all the other costs associated with an upcoming wedding. But, this wedding app has so many features, I think you’ll find the price point is well worth it.

image of Zola gift registry on my list of great wedding appsZola Wedding Registry

Gone are the days of running from one store to the next to create numerous wedding registries. Universal registries now give couples the easy option of adding items from any website to their wedding registry. And, just when you think it can’t get any better in comes Zola. Zola is one of the most popular wedding registries right now, and it’s easy to see why. You can access it through your computer, but what makes it so much fun is the app. It has a gift suggestion tool with a “Tinder-like” feel to it. Swipe left to pass on the suggestion or swipe right to add the suggested product to your wish list.  You can also use the app to scan bar codes. So, it’s easy to add items you see while shopping to your list at Zola. My favorite feature is the ability to add cash/honeymoon funds to your wishlist, or enable guests to go in together on higher price point items you have on your list.

Zola is free to download for iOS , Android, and Desktop

Remember there is an app for everything. Select the wedding app that fits the tasks you want to streamline. If you find the app isn’t serving you, don’t be afraid to try another wedding app. What’s most important is you enjoy every moment of your wedding from planning the event through your wedding day!
